Website Pages Residents Should Visit

The following pages are available for the use of the Community.  Residents having an item to post to any of these pages or a comment about their use should contact the webmaster using the links provided on those pages, or using the “Contact Us” page.

  • Community Classifieds – Here residents can add their for sale, wanted, or free item.
  • Homes For-Sale – Residents can add their home for sale summary listing which will point to your homes Realtors MLS listing page.  This will give your home more exposure to the homeowners looking for a nice community to live in.
  • Lost & Found - You can list your Lost & Found items here.  If you have lost or even found something within the community, lets you neighbors know and list it here.
  • Community Marketplace – If you have a small business or a service you provide you can list it here.  This free internet advertizing for community residents will give your business or service more exposure so customers can find you.
  • Community Pictures – If you like taking pictures and have pictures from a community event or around the community send them to the webmaster to have them posted for the community.

Technology at its best - Messages or Announcements posted to the Board Messages and Committee Announcements pages will be automatically emailed to the residents who have signed up with our mailing list.  Residents can signup using the “Join Out Mailing List” icon located on the left side menu area or at the “Contact Us” page.

Community Website Announcement

This is to keep everyone informed about the website changeover and updates.

As in the prior website update announcement:  "The new website is ready to the point where the old website will no longer be updated.  It will just stay as a static website till the "host" closes it in November 2011."

If you have visited the old website you would have noticed that a redirect was placed there which will automatically take visitors to the new website should they visit the old one.  Residents should add the new website URL (Google website) to their favorites/bookmark.

The Wynn Wood Homeowners Association (Google website) website has the new HOA contact information updated.

New web section:  A new section to the "Our Community" page is being added.  I am calling it the "Community Marketplace" where residents can have pages to advertise their home/small business.  While we can not advertise our business with signs in the community, having an internet ad could bring you more customers.  And did I mention that its Free (resident only business advertising will be accepted).  A link will be on that page where you can contact the webmaster to start creating you Marketplace ad.

Community Email Contact Mailing List:  The community email mailing list format has been updated and some of the information listed for you may have been moved around.  Residents are asked to "Update your profile" using the link provided at the bottom of this email and follow the instructions for entering your
information at the top of that form.

While you are visiting the community website and you have any ideas to improve it or find something that does not work or even a "spelling" error (I am finding loads of them) please let me know.

Thank you,

Webmaster

HOA New Website Changeover

This is to keep everyone informed about the website changeover.

The new website is ready to the point where the old website will no longer be updated.  It will just stay as a static website till the "host" closes it in November 2011.  Residents are encouraged to visit and use the new website, I'll call it the "Goggle Website".

I have placed a "graphic" in the top left corner of the old website pages to let everyone who does visit there know about the changeover.

Links on the old website to contact the HOA or reference to a residents contact information (I.E. board emails) will be removed from the old site.  The Google website has all of the HOA contact information updated.

Residents are advised to visit the Goggle website and add its URL/address to your "Favorites or Bookmarks".

Website Usage Update

Due to lack of interest and a very small percentage of our members utilizing this informative tool, we are taking another look at how the website will be developing.  The website will remain as just informative information with no extras, like a For-Sale, Homes For-Sale, or Lost & Found page, or those which require monitoring and resident input.

Our goal and hope was to have all of the homeowners utilize this website to stay informed and updated about the HOA and community.  The majority of our members are still not utilizing this great information tool and continue to complain that they don't know what is being done for their assessments and/or don't know what is happening in our association/community, thus leaving us with the conclusion that having an association website is not that important to our members.  But, for the few that depend on and utilize this website, it will continue as the major source for information on our association, without the extras.

This website has been and is provided for our members at no additional costs to their assessments.

IF YOU DON'T USE THE WEBSITE TO KEEP UPDATED AND INFORMED, THEN DON'T COMPLAIN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.
